Breast enlargement surgery usually takes between one and two hours under general Anaesthesia.

You will be able to return home the same day, we’ll discuss what we think is the best option for you before we proceed for the procedure.

Although breast enlargement is a very commonly-performed surgery, it’s important to remember that like any surgery  this surgery carries some temporary side effects like pain , discomfort , swelling and numbness which resolve on their own gradually .

We will discuss all potential risks with you prior to surgery and can answer any question you.

Breast implants last for very long time but they dont have a specific lifespan. It’s recommended to get your implants checked over by a surgeon around 10 years after your Original surgery to make sure everything’s still OK.

In ‘over’ or ‘above the muscle’ procedure breast implant is placed in front of your breast muscle. What it means is it’s more superficial and sits just below the breast tissue. This is the best option if you have some breast tissue already or if you are restoring fullness of your deflated breasts.

In ‘under’ or ‘behind the muscle’ procedure the implant is placed behind your breast muscle. This is best option for women with very small breasts who have very little breast fat. This procedure reduces the chances of breast implants showing and gives a more natural looking result. However, it’s trickier to place larger implants this way.

Dr Yadav will discuss about the results you are looking for from breast surgery and will advise the best breast implant size and placement for your body.

After you’ve discussed the look you want to achieve, Dr Prashant Yadav will make his recommendations on which size of implant to go for and explain his choice to you.

Dr Yadav will be able to give you an estimation of your new breast size based on the implant size and the current size of your breasts.

Your breasts will be sensitive and swollen for one week after your surgery. During this time, they may feel tight, high or unnaturally round and your nipples may become numb or sensitive for a short while.

Please Don’t worry, though – by six to eight weeks after your surgery, things will have settled down and the incision site should have healed enough for you to be able to see the full, permanent results.

You can expect minor scarring from your breast enlargement surgery, but they will fade significantly over time and become much less noticeable.

We’ll make sure and explain where any scarring will occur and why before you book in for surgery. Dr Prashant  Yadav will explain to you where the incisions will be made to place your Implants. One method leaves a scar under the breast hidden in the crease. With another approach the incisions are made around the areola or through the armpit and that’s where the scar will be.

Yes – in fact, if your breasts have lost volume, your surgeon might also recommend having uplift in order to achieve the look you want.

Pregnancy affects breasts with implants in the same way that it affects breasts without them.

Absolutely – breast implants have no effect on whether you can breastfeed or not.

The vast majority of our patients are able to have routine mammograms in the future. Just be sure to tell your practitioner that you have breast implants before the screening as they may need to use a different method.

Both implant types produce attractive, natural breast augmentation results. You need to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each, taking into account your personal preferences. For most women, the most significant difference lies in how the implants feel. Visually, both types of implant basically look the same when breast augmentation is performed by a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon like Dr. Prashant Yadav.

The best breast implants for you will have a base diameter that matches your chest wall diameter and a profile that creates a look you desire. Breast implant volume and desired cup size are less significant factors in choosing your best implant. Breast implant sizers are used at your consultation to simulate possible results but nothing can perfectly predict your outcome. Expect your final size to be visible by 3-4 months following surgery.

The inframammary fold incision (in the breast crease or under the breast) is the most versatile choice. With this incision, any breast implant size can be inserted and all revisions can be performed through the same incision. According to recent scientific discovery this incision produces the least amount of scar tissue around the implant making  this Dr.Yadav’s preferred incision of choice.

The transaxillary incision (near the armpit) is used less frequently than it was years ago. This method does not allow direct access to the breast pocket, so it may require the use of an endoscope. Also, if revision surgery becomes necessary, another incision may be needed.

The areola incision (around the nipple) used to be a popular choice and the surgery scar will usually blend in nicely with the pigment of the areola. But for some patients, the areolae are not large enough making it difficult to place a silicone gel breast implant of the desired size. The interior architecture of the breast is injured by using this incision.
